-Electronic Marketing Process- In order for a trade between a buyer and a seller can be done, then there should be a specific process. This process may include the following stages
  • Buyers entered the market through computer
  • Buyers looking for a product, enter the product vendor homepage
  • Buyers select products, from catalogs
  • Buyers order products, fill out purchase orders, transaction processing occurs
  • Purchase order is sent to the seller, an integration of law
  • The seller confirms the order
  • Buyers pay, using multiple payment options, the transaction
  • Payment information is sent to the bank, an integration of law
  • Credit check on the buyer's bank
  • Approved credit, payable at the bank seller, an integration of law
  • Products delivered by the seller
  • Products received by buyers
Clearly, if the buyer is an organization or a repeat customer, number of stages can be changed or bypassed. Later, we will deal with the major steps in this process, and also with specific products and services of electronic markets.

-Interdisciplinary Nature of E-Commerce- Electronic commerce, as a new field, is developing a theoretical or scientific foundation. It is clear that E-Commerce is based on a number of disciplines. Various major discipline of E-Commerce and examples of issues it addresses include
